Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave Therapy (SWT) is a non-invasive treatment that addresses chronic musculoskeletal conditions, particularly those involving tendons and their connections to bone. It’s commonly used to treat issues like plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, tennis and golfer’s elbow, calcific tendonitis, jumper’s knee, Morton’s neuroma, and chronic fractures.
What Can SWT Help With?
If you’ve been struggling with stubborn injuries or pain that just won’t go away, shockwave therapy might be a solution. It’s often used for:
- Chronic tendon pain and inflammation.
- Conditions where calcifications build up, like in the shoulder.
- Stress fractures that are slow to heal.
- Persistent foot or heel pain (like plantar fasciitis).
- Overuse injuries from sports or repetitive activities.
How Does It Work?
SWT stimulates the body’s natural healing process by delivering strong energy pulses to damaged areas. This boosts blood flow, speeds up metabolism, and encourages healing in bones and connective tissues. It’s especially effective for cases where the body hasn’t been able to heal itself. Many patients report significant pain relief after just a few treatments.
Why Try SWT?
- It’s quick and non-invasive.
- Can reduce pain and improve mobility without surgery or medication.
- Helps “jumpstart” healing in stubborn, slow-recovering injuries.
SWT can make a real difference, especially when combined with proper rehab and recovery practices. If you’ve been dealing with persistent pain or injuries, SWT is now available here and could be the solution you’ve been looking for—speak with us to learn more!
